-PARALLEL UNIVERSE-

Dividing this limited space into both private resting and working space for the tenants-a couple. As the man works for the New York Stock Ex- change and aspiring “expert” in the American markets, he works in a different time zone than the woman. So the elements of separating the bedroom were added to this design.

To enlarge the space than it seems to be, open-area were mainly used in this design, especially the living room area, no bedroom on the ground floor also helped to create more space for the house. Glasses were used for the toilet to catch more sunlight from the glass wall to save energy. The working area, dining area and kitchen also facing the glass wall so more natural sunlight will be used as the main source of light.
For the businessman's bedroom, a wall to block the sunlight as he lives in a different time and needs to sleep in the morning, the wall perfectly blocked the light and won't affect his work. The same design has been done for the woman's bedroom's sidewall. As the woman lives in normal time, the sunlight will be able to wake her up and be her daily light source, the side-wall block the light from the man's room so she can sleep at night time while he is working.
The shelves also worked as stairs and increase the storage of the house. Overall it’s a very modern and concise house.
